I look at other people work and see sharp crisp images (photomanipulations) and wonder how they got them to look so clear. When I submit mine the don't retain the sharpness they do in photoshop. Why? Is it that I'm not using a high enough resolution or saving in the wrong format? How do I make my images look so crisp? I know that posting them to the web will lose some quality, but theirs still seem to be clear. I save in .jpg with the highest quality and usually have about 300-700 for my resolution. My images range in size but usually not smaller that 1024x768 :/
I'm currently 20 years of age and reside in the United States. Going to college right now to get my basics out of the way at a community college. Then I'm moving up to a real college and still going for Marine Biology and on the side will be graphic design.
